Do you Ship by Air ? PDF Print E-mail

Yes, we do!  We have been shipping beagles both nationally and internationally for many years.  Puppies need to be at least 8 weeks of age in order to fly on commercial airlines.

There are temperature restrictions for most airline carriers.  They will not accept dogs if the air temperature is above 85 degrees or below 20 degrees.  Continental Airlines is the only airlines at the moment who does not these restrictions as they have separate transport for the dogs from the baggage facilities to the airplane.

The cost of shipping is related to the weight and/or the size of the crate that the pup is shipping in.   The cost of airfare is increasing. I will try and keep these prices up to date.

Summer andWinter shipments on Continental (information dated July 1, 2008)

Airfare for live animals total weight under 9 lb = $149 plus surchare of $0.40/lb which is approximately $152.00

Vet Certifcate = #35.00

Small Shipping Crate = $18.00.  It is possible to "rent" the shipping crate.  Return the crate  and the price of the shipping crate will be refunded to you.

Using the "crate rental Option", the cost of shipping a pup (total weight less than 9 lb including crate, bedding etc) is  $179.00
